Protein was entrusted with creating a modern and memorable brand identity that not only reflects FuseFX’s industry standing, but also visually embodies the essence of the company’s name: 'Fuse'.
As the design lead at Protein, I was tasked with creating a new visual identity that rolls out across stationery, presentations and website.

01. Logo
To reflect FuseFX's stature in the industry, the new logo features a galaxy-inspired spirograph, symbolising its vast network of studios and talent. The galaxy motif, often linked with sci-fi—a genre deeply rooted in VFX—underscores FuseFX’s creative core.
Inspired by the concept of "fusion," the spirograph design draws on Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, representing the blend of science and art central to VFX. The metallic tones evoke the image of heated metals merging, further emphasising the brand’s commitment to innovation and creative fusion.

02. Website
The FuseFX website was designed as a simple, elegant showcase for the studio’s impressive projects and industry influence. The clean, visually-driven layout highlights their portfolio while also serving as a recruitment and education portal, attracting top talent and providing insights into VFX artistry. A dedicated news and announcements section keeps visitors updated on FuseFX’s latest achievements, making the site both a dynamic resource and a reflection of the studio’s expertise and leadership in the field.

03. Results
The new branding of FuseFX marked a pivotal moment in the company's evolution, empowering it to confidently step into the next chapter of its history. The refreshed brand identity not only enhanced its market presence but also instilled greater confidence in its leadership to pursue strategic acquisitions.
With a stronger, more cohesive brand, FuseFX was better positioned to expand its portfolio by acquiring other companies, driving growth and solidifying its reputation as an industry leader.
